Episode 163: Although I’m an “active” trader, I traded very little in 2015 because I was concerned about the bottom falling out of the stock market. This was of special concern because the S&P500 had not broken below its 50 day moving average since 2011 but the top appeared to be flattening.
In this episode I reflect on the trades I made in 2015 and emphasize the point that being an active trader doesn’t mean that you should irresponsibly trade or speculate in uncertain markets.
KEY POINT: Making the decision NOT TO TRADE is a trade.
